Aanbevelingen vanuit Baan Tai
Begin met het getij, het weer en het soort dag dat u wilt. De stranden aan de zuidkust liggen het dichtst bij onze villa’s; noordelijke en noordoostelijke baaien kunnen beter zijn voor een langere zwemdag.
Ideaal voor: A morning visit, paddling and an easy outing close to our villas.
Booking.com lists Baan Tai Beach at 1.2 km and Baan Kai Beach at 1.3 km from the property. These are straight-line reference distances, so the walking route and journey time can be longer.
Goed om te weten: The south coast is shallow and strongly affected by the tide. At low water it may be too shallow for a proper swim, so check conditions before leaving.
Ideaal voor: A broad sandy beach with restaurants and the atmosphere of Haad Rin village.
This is one of Koh Phangan’s best-known beaches and an easy south-coast outing from Baan Tai in normal traffic.
Goed om te weten: The area becomes much busier around Full Moon events. Allow extra time and arrange a taxi rather than riding after drinking.
Ideaal voor: A full beach day when you want to spend most of the day beside the sea.
These two north-eastern bays are among the island destinations highlighted by the Tourism Authority of Thailand.
Goed om te weten: The road includes winding and hilly sections. If you are not an experienced scooter rider, use a local taxi or driver.
Ideaal voor: A beach afternoon, sunset and snorkelling when sea conditions suit.
Haad Yao is a useful west-coast choice when you want more than a quick visit close to Baan Tai.
Goed om te weten: At very low tide the water becomes shallow and parts of the reef lie close to the surface. Never stand on or touch coral.
Ideaal voor: The sandbar, a longer island outing and snorkelling when conditions are suitable.
Mae Haad is known for the sandbar leading towards Koh Ma. Its appearance and accessibility change with the tide.
Goed om te weten: Check sea conditions before snorkelling, keep children close and stay away from exposed coral in shallow water.
Ideaal voor: Guests who want a remote bay and are happy to plan the journey carefully.
Bottle Beach is not a quick drive from Baan Tai. Access may involve a boat, a jungle hike or a rough road, depending on conditions.
Goed om te weten: Check the outward and return journey before setting off. Boat access depends on sea conditions; road and trail conditions can change after rain.
